What is the most recognizable symbol in the world?

 

Lets keep in mind that some of these symbols have double meanings. For example, the pentagram has been used to transmit occult power in all kinds of rituals for centuries, but to Christians the same shape may simply represent a star — a special part of God’s creation. The image of a fish may mean a sign of the zodiac (astrology) to some, but to Christians it has meant following Jesus and sharing the message of His love.
Please don’t pass judgment on those who happen to wear these symbols. Instead, let us seek rational thought and discernment so that we might all recognise individual freewill and decision making, instead of illiteracy from peer pressure and ignorance. Remember, “each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block. . . in our brother’s way.” (Romans 14:12-13)
From what I have found, from discussions and debates with friends and family, these happen to be the most recognisable symbols worldwide (it’s in no particular order and please don’t take this as a numerical list):

This is based on popular culture and a 21st century environmental society. Basically the world in which we live in now. These symbols and logo’s are easily recognised worldwide due to the influx of information technology and the internet, easy access communication has brought us a plat era of images that can not be erased from our minds so easily.
